There's this island off the coast, right? It used to be a mining island, and they'd cart the coal down to the pier. But the island wasn't really conducive to it, so a lot of the projects and infrastructure got abandoned and discontinued before even being used.

Not really—I think it was just so hard to get them that it stopped being worth the effort after a while.

I see. Mortals do need to put more effort into things to finish them.
