probably unsurprisingly, fei du has been conspicuously absent this afternoon. luo wenzhou's off hanging out with someone else for a little bit, though, which means he takes the chance to check his phone and immediately come check on shenhe.
there's the sound of the door opening... and when he spots shenhe conked out on the bed, with luo yiguo in tow, he makes a quiet noise and pulls out his phone to take a picture? cute?
and then comes over, kneeling down by the bed and reaching out to gently scritch yiguo on the nose. the cat yawns and starts to wiggle a little in shenhe's arms, and fei du huffs. ]

fei du himself doesn't bother with it, just bopping him on the nose and letting her scoot closer. the comment about the reunion - well. he smiles, a bit, and for the first time all weekend, there's warmth to it. now that shenhe's close, she might notice that the makeup he'd been wearing the day before, and some this morning, is finally cleaned off. the dark circles under his eyes are still there, and he still looks exhausted, but he's doing better. ]
It's a little bittersweet. [ Because the future is still uncertain. ] ...But, yes. I did.
