I don't think I would reconsider anyway. It is important, however, that Ylfa is able to return at least.

Who is Ylfa? [she thinks she might know, she's just confirming.] Are the two of you from the same world?

We're from the same team. Though, a few of us are missing at the moment. We are assuming, maybe hopefully, they are also not dead. That would be best, considering the impending end of the world.

Strange places, then. Well, I can start with the Lines Between, perhaps? A place between dimensions, it's this grand structure made of all the pages of stories, infinite and changing. It made me very seasick.

Well, I mean ... imagine your home. It has boundaries and edges and is, hopefully, quite well defined. And then this one, the place where we've been brought. These two places would never normally intersect, as it were.

That is the place between them. Nothingness. And, of course, everything.

[ he sighs a little. actually, he does half expect the answer to be "lots of them" and also it's a ridiculous statement coming from a fairy tale character who hangs out with a cat who wears boots, but whatever. ]

My Master takes the shape of a crane. [so like, this isn't out of the realm of possibility??? she's never seen a human sized frog but she's never been to sumeru, maybe there's some there.]

... I don't understand. Can you not be both?

[ an Expression crosses his face when she says crane, but it's hard to tell exactly what it is because. frog. maybe a little bit of fear? I'm sure it's fine. ]
